![Noteworthy comment: The results of this study showed that cryptocapsin, cryptocapsin-5,6-epoxide and zeaxanthin have antiamyloidogenic potential possibly through binding of the three carotenoids to Aβ. This property purportedly prevents its aggregation suggesting their potentially beneficial effect for treatment of Alzheimer's disease. This well written MS with appropriate methodology is important because of its possible value in future developments for treating AD, a devastating disease of the elderly.](assets/img/article_icons/noteworthy.png)
