![Noteworthy comment: This case-control study concluded that the GSTM1 null genotype and the GSTM1 and GSTT1 double null genotype may be related to the onset of schizophrenia in the Chinese Han population. This study suggested that the GSTM1 gene polymorphism was one of the risk indicators for schizophrenia, but whether it will be useful as a biomarker for schizophrenia in the East Asian population still requires further exploration in larger samples and multiple regions.](assets/img/article_icons/noteworthy.png)
