This paper has been retracted.

Wei J, Xu H, Wei W, et al. Onco Targets Ther. 2020;13:1613–1624.

We, the Editor and Publisher of the journal OncoTargets and Therapy have retracted the published article.

Concerns were raised regarding the potential use of non-verifiable cell lines in the study described in the article. The authors were cooperative and responded to our queries and were able to provide some information regarding the purchasing and testing of some cell lines. However, the information was incomplete, and the authors were also unable to provide satisfactory original data relating to other aspects of the study, raising doubts about the validity of the findings. As verifying the validity of published work is core to the integrity of the scholarly record, the Publisher and Editor requested to retract the article and the corresponding author was notified of this decision.

We have been informed in our decision-making by our editorial policies and COPE guidelines.

The retracted article will remain online to maintain the scholarly record, but it will be digitally watermarked on each page as “Retracted”.
